Look to your left. Now, look to your right. What does your desk look like? Clean or cluttered? Many would agree that having a clean, uncluttered surface on which to work is a good thing as it can improve one’s thought processes and productivity.
But what about your email’s inbox? Is it cluttered or clean? How many messages are sitting there? How many are sitting there unread? The same concept that one would apply to a work surface, can apply to your virtual work surface as well.
